The SCW girls gave it their best effort but came up short against Bridgewater-Emery in volleyball action Friday night.
Set scores were 19-25, 25-22, 8-25 and 15-25.
Tesa Jensen led the Lady Blackhawks with 12 kills and five digs, while Tristan Ziebart had 18 digs and 27 assists. Madi Moody contributed seven assists and 16 digs. Alissa Ball also had 16 digs, while Sarah Morgan finished the match with nine kills and 13 digs.
For the Huskies, Sydney Hoffman led with 11 kills and four blocks, and Haley Schulz added six kills and six blocks. Katelyn Kotas led her team with 35 digs.
The Blackhawks will end their regular season with a match against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at Woonsocket on Tuesday night in Woonsocket.
Region play is Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 2 in Madison.
