The 15th Annual Wessington Springs Foothills Rodeo was held over Memorial Day weekend.  One of the special events of the rodeo was the Queen Contest. The queen contestants competed and were scored on Horsemanship, Impromptu Questions, Speech and Appearance.
On Sunday, the following were crowned: Foothills Rodeo Queen Payton Johanneson of Alexandria, Foothills Jr. Rodeo Queen Bailey Feistner of Woonsocket, and Foothills Princess Delaney Zoss of Forestburg.  The Queens will represent the Foothills Rodeo at various events over the next year, as well as the 2018 Foothills Rodeo.  Jane Barber is the queen coordinator.
Bailey Feistner is the daughter of Brian and Jennifer Feistner. Delaney Zoss is the daughter of Steve and Casey Zoss.
