The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor Lindy Peterson at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2017, with the following members present: Richard Reider, Derek Foos and Darin Kilcoin. Jim Steichen was on a conference call.
Motion by Foos, seconded by Kilcoin, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Reider, seconded by Foos, to approve the July Minutes.Motion carried.
Motion by Steichen, seconded by Reider, to approve the Financial Statement. Motion carried.

Tom Fridley and Jason Coenen were on hand to speak about a golf cart permit. This will be discussed again next meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
Mayor Peterson informed the council the cold storage was fixed.
Council discussed the streets that were going to be chipped and sealed.
Council discussed the Mason Building. Bills have been sent, and if not paid within 60 days, legal action will be taken.
Council member Kilcoin gave an update on the pump.
Council discussed getting water to the football field.
Council discussed getting the concrete crushed at the dumpground.
Council members watched a video provided by Liquid Engineering while they were here repairing the water tower.
NEW BUSINESS
The bathroom at the football got hit while installing the waterline. Peterson and Weber will work with insurance.
Other discussion items:
Cemetery – put on hold;
Cars – continue to work on issue;
Siren – waiting on the timer;
Work list – council reviewed the list;
Jake Brake Ordinance – looking at possible signage.
With no further business to be discussed, motion by Foos, seconded by Steichen to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
