There was a flurry of activity at Artesian First Lutheran on Thursday evening, Oct. 4, as the quilting group met and completed several of the quilts that had some finishing touches to be done on them.  The gals really wanted to get the quilts done so they could be blessed at church and sent off to Lutheran World Relief, The Church on the Street in Sioux Falls, The Mitchell Area Safehouse, and the Abbott House in Mitchell.  The group enjoyed fellowship and Terry Moore’s famous cookies for lunch. They also shared devotions and the Lord’s Prayer. Those attending were: Deanna Dean, Casady Dean, Judi Larson, Jean Wormstadt, Jane Marten, Jane’s sister, Lisa Murray of Houston, Texas, and Judy Wormstadt.
