On Tuesday, July 10th several current and former Artesian area gals toured the Abbott House at Mitchell.  Tour director, Virginia Wighard Lambert, assisted by Jamie Healy, Abbott House staff member, gave the group an informational talk and film about the various programs provided by the Abbott House and the young girls they serve.  They were then given a walk through tour of the facility.  One of the girls who had been at the Abbott House for over a year and was soon to be joining a foster family, talked to the group about how she had been helped by the therapy, staff assistance and special care that she received.  The group was really impressed by the staff and facility and all the work they do with the young girls.
