Kapri Hiemstra works hard to catch a prize-winning fish in Lake Prior during the fishing derby held on Sunday, July 1. Her mother, Karisa, and her grandparents, Perianne Clendenning and Mike Miller help support her efforts.

The Annual Woonsocket Water Festival has begun, and several activities took place over the weekend. The theme for this year’s festival is “A Looney Woony Fourth! Celebrating Looney Tunes Cartoons.”
