On Saturday, Jan. 6, the Lady Blackhawks worked hard to the end, and after four full quarters of play, came out on top of the Redfield-Doland Pheasants 48-42. The Blackhawks were just up by two with a score of 19-17 at the half.
The Lady Blackhawks were led in scoring by Tesa Jensen with 15 points, and Abby Doering helped with nine points. Megan Poyer led all rebounders with seven rebounds on the night.
The SCW girls improve their record to 4-2 on the season. Their next action is on Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Kimball, followed by the 281 Tournament starting on Friday, Jan. 12, at 3:30 p.m. against Iroquois in Wolsey.
