Sanborn County Commissioners met in regular session on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Ebersdorfer presiding. Other members present were: S. Larson, P. Larson, Ohlrogge, and Blindauer. Also present was Auditor Larson. Motion by Blindauer, seconded by Ohlrogge, to approve the minutes as corrected.  All ayes. Motion carried.

HIGHWAY

Lee Goergen, Highway Superintendent/Weed Supervisor, was unable to meet with the board.

CPR COURSES

The County pays for the Sanborn County Ambulance to conduct CPR training for the eighth grade students in both Sanborn Central and Woonsocket Schools.  CPR is now a requirement for seniors to graduate. The board was approached by one of the schools on paying for the eighth grade and the seniors. Motion by Ohlrogge, seconded by P. Larson, to pay for both eighth grade and seniors to receive the CPR training. All ayes. Motion carried.

EASTER MONDAY

Governor Daugaard declared Monday, April 2, a holiday for state employees. Motion by P. Larson, seconded by Blindauer, to declare a half day leave on Good Friday with the courthouse closing at noon, and it will be closed on Monday, April 2. All ayes. Motion carried.
