The “Born to Run” 5K for Fun race was held Saturday, July 6 at 9 a.m. The mild morning temperatures were welcome for the 110 runners and walkers who signed up to participate.
In the 0-8-age category, Kinsley Vermeulen came in first for the girls, and Rowan Heiberger came in first for the boys.
In the 9-13-age group, Addyson Orth won first place for the girls, and Jeffery Boschee earned first place for the boys.
In the 14-18-age division, Hannah Terkildsen came in first place for the girls, and Spens Schicht won first for the boys.
In the 19-29-age division, Chelsea Schulz placed first for the women, and Rex Schlicht placed first on the men’s side.
In the 30-39-age category, Tricia Boschee and Rosalie Ball tied for first place for the women, and Jeff Schulz came in first for the men.
In the 40-49-age category, Jill Farris earned first for the women, and Bill Terkildsen earned first for the men.
In the 50-59-age division, Paula Linke came in first place for the women, and Scott Gentles got first on the men’s side.
In the 60 and over age group, Marla Feistner received first place for the women.
