The Woonsocket American Legion had a large turn out at their Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament this past weekend with 27 players.

Congratulations to the winners of the poker tournament: first place – Pat Hughes, second place – Steve Nelson, third place – Dick Regynski, and Dustin Budde, who had the high hand of the night. 

A BBQ sandwich supper also preceded the tournament, served by the American Legion Auxiliary.

Proceeds of this fundraiser will help the American Legion and Legion Auxiliary Post 29 support their activities in the community.

The next tournament is being planned for this fall.
