On Friday, Feb. 22, the Wessington Springs Spartans came to Forestburg for the final regular season game on the Blackhawks’ schedule. The Spartans went home empty-handed, as the Blackhawks won the game with a final score of 68-44.

The JV played before the varsity and they had a great game with the Spartans actually coming out on top of that one with a score of 32-37.

The Blackhawks started their post-season play on Tuesday, Feb. 26 against Elkton-Lake Benton in Woonsocket. If they win, their next game for the Region 4B Tournament will be on Friday, March 1, at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
