The annual Fishing Derby during the Water Festival in Woonsocket is always a great way for families to enjoy time together by Lake Prior. This year’s derby had 67 participants. Pictured above are Ryan, Tyce and Kinsley Vermeulen proudly showing off their biggest catch of the day. They are the husband and children of Ashley (Feistner) Vermeulen, and they all traveled from Rapid City to spend the Fourth in Woonsocket.
