On Thursday, Feb. 28, the Lady Blackhawks traveled to Huron to take on the DeSmet Bulldogs for a chance to advance to the State B Tournament. Due to trouble with turnovers and three starters getting into foul trouble early in the game, the SCW girls took a loss that ended their basketball season for this school year. The final score was SCW 35, DeSmet 64.

The Lady Blackhawks ended their season with a record of 16-7, with a good group of young girls coming back next year with the ability for another successful season.
