The SCW Chapter FFA Officers Elixicir Roasterie Coffee Shop in Mitchell. They discussed important topics and future events coming up within the next school year. One of the many topics discussed was the Kick-Off FFA meeting on Sept. 7. Stay tuned for future details!
SCW FFA Advisor, Miss Ronning, sent them on a scavenger hunt downtown Mitchell. They had several riddles and clues that they had to follow to figure out which downtown business the scavenger hunt would send them too. This included a lot of communication skills and teamwork. They took pictures with each clue that they had found, including barn quilts, several of the parks downtown, and the famous Cornelius across from the Corn Palace.
For lunch, they had pizza in Hitchcock Park and further discussed important events throughout the year. Goals for this year include getting more involved in the communities and to recruiting members.
The SCW FFA chapter is looking forward to a fun 2019-2020 year!
