Sanborn County looks like a winter wonderland after the blizzard that came through.
Sanborn County, along with most of South Dakota, was bombarded with several inches of snow over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It was reported that approximately seven inches of snow fell all over the county. Unfortunately, rain fell before the snow, so roads were treacherous all weekend, which made it difficult for visitors and residents to return to their homes after their Thanksgiving celebrations.
