The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by mayor, Richard Reider at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, with the following members present: Derek Foos, Arin Boschee, Darin Kilcoin, Joel Rassel and Garret Foos. Brandon Goergen was absent.

Motion by G. Foos, seconded by D. Foos, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Motion by D. Foos, seconded by Kilcoin, to approve the June 3, 2019, minutes. Motion carried.

Community members met with the council concerning cars. 

Motion by Rassel, seconded by Boschee, to approve the May Financial Statement. Motion carried.

Motion by G. Foos, seconded by D. Foos, to approve the June Financial Statement. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

Council discussed streets. Richard Jensen will contact Clark Paving.

Council discussed Waste Management. They will be present at the August 5th meeting.

Council discussed the website.

Council discussed the surplus sale. The total after expenses was $3,675.40.

NEW BUSINESS

Council discussed the 2020 budget.

Council discussed lawn in town and if the city mows, bills will be sent.

Council discussed a new roof for the picnic shelter by the north campground. It was decided to just replace the picnic shelter next year.

Council discussed the Fourth of July events.

Other business that was discussed included: bathrooms, playground and cemetery.

With no further business to be discussed, motion by D. Foos, seconded by Boschee, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
