In times of grief, it is often hard to find the right words. You may find it hard to speak in general. While this statement may reign true for many of us, the Woonsocket High School has been using their voices to initiate change within our community. This tragedy has left our community devastated and left many searching for answers.
The Woonsocket High School has been taking proactive steps to speak out against the Highway 34-37 junction, also known as the “Three-Mile Corner” by locals, after the tragic accident that took the lives of three young boys and injured two others. Students within the high school were actively searching for a solution to end this terror from striking our community again. This led students to take action by reaching out to various state departments and their local legislators asking for change.
