The SCW Lady Blackhawks faced the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies in Emery on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The JV girls worked hard and came out on top with a final score of 32-28. Leading the way for the JV was Brooke Doering with 17 points, five rebounds and three steals. Morgan Schmiedt handed in seven points and three rebounds, and Teya Moody had five points.
The varsity girls also worked hard but didn’t have the same outcome, as the Huskies proved to be a strong opponent, defeating the Lady Blackhawks with a final score of 35-59. SCW was led by Trinity Boschee and Kaylee White who both scored nine points. Boschee also notched four assists and two steals, while White also brought down five rebounds. Mariah Jost helped out with six points and two assists.
