To end the school year, the third and fourth grade classes gathered together to celebrate! Due to the unpredictable ending to the school year last year, the fourth graders were unable to celebrate their book publishing with a party so we joined together to end the year with a little party. The fourth graders raised some funds before the ending of their third grade year so it was put to good use for an end of year party. Skeeters supplied the pizza, and the third grade parents supplied extra treats, which were made available to all the students for this movie and late book publishing party!
On the last Friday of the school year, the third grade class went on a wonderful field trip! Mrs. Libby Flemming helped to arrange this trip to the Lazy J Dairy Farm and the National Guards in Huron. The students loved learning about the process of milking cows and especially enjoyed the baby calves! Then there was plenty of time to enjoy some pizza supplied by the WEPC and playing at the park.
Finally, we made so many memories visiting the National Guard facility. The students loved the night vision goggles, learning about the MREs and getting to explore on of the vehicles! The students had so much fun!
