On Wednesday, June 19, the Letcher Hawks 14U and 16U Teeners teams traveled to Platte for a night of baseball. The 14U boys started the evening, and the Hawks just couldn’t keep up with the Platte-Geddes 14U Teeners and fell 3-13. 

In the second game, the Platte-Geddes 16U Teeners scored five runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat the Letcher Hawks 16U team 9-1. 

The Hawks’ next game was against Scotland on Monday, June 24, and then they were scheduled to play Wessington Springs on Wednesday, June 26. Both games were in Letcher. Next week they play Alexandria in Letcher on Monday, July 1, and Wagner in Wagner on Wednesday, July 3. All games start at 5:30 p.m. with the 14U playing first and the 16U to follow.
