Agricultural producers in eastern South Dakota are eligible to receive financial assistance for a variety of conservation practices focusing on improving soil health.
Ducks Unlimited, the U.S.D.A. Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and several partners have developed the project under the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), aimed at improving soil health, wildlife habitat, and landscape productivity. RCPP provides landowners with financial assistance for incorporating regenerative farming practices, improving wildlife habitat, and diversifying crop rotations and landscape use.
Find out how this program fits with your operation at an Informational Open House to be held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, at the Woonsocket NRCS Office. Come meet field staff, ask questions and start your applications.
