On Oct. 19, the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket junior high volleyball team made up of seventh and eighth graders traveled to Iroquois to take part in the Iroquois Booster Club Third Annual Jr. High “Big Spike” Volleyball Tournament.

Eight teams participated in the tournament including SCW, James Valley Christian, Iroquois/Doland, Wolsey-Wessington, Lake Preston, Howard, Wessington Springs, and Hitchcock-Tulare. The eight teams were divided into two groups for pool play.
