The junior high teams traveled to Mt. Vernon on Monday, Dec. 21, to face the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (MVP) Titans. Since there are plenty of girls out for basketball, they will normally play two games with one being a seventh-grade game and the other an eighth-grade game, as long as the opposing team is ok with it.

We won the seventh-grade game 26-7. The girls played outstanding defense and shot the ball well.

We won the eighth-grade game 38-12. Our full court man-to-man pressure defense was very tough on MVP. The girls really got after them and played very well.

All the girls came to play vs. MVP. They moved the ball well and worked very well together. I loved our effort on the defensive end of the floor as they just made it very difficult for MVP to get any offense going.
