The Town of Artesian Council met on December 14, 2021, in regular session at the Artesian Community Center. Council Member Kurt Effling called the meeting to order with Council Members Candi Danek and Travis King present. Also present were Finance Officer Molly Ebersdorfer, Tom Fridley, Mike Salathe, and Andrew and Kaleigh Zoss.
Motion by Danek, seconded by King, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. The minutes of the November 9, 2021, meeting were read, financial reports were read and vouchers were presented; motion to approve by Danek, seconded by King; motion carried.

Fridley gave a report on streets and lagoons.
New Business:
Mike Salathe gave a report on Highway 34 speed limit signs and reported findings. There was discussion on getting new speed limit signs. Motion by King, seconded by Danek, to write off uncollectable accounts receivables – 2021-1 $159.75, 2021-2 $365.60 and 2021-3 $112.55. Motion carried.
Resolution 2021-12
Whereas, the Town Council has determined that the 2021 budget requires adjustment. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Town Council of the Town of Artesian hereby authorizes the following additional income and expense that is tied to: General Checking – Insurance $3,200, Finance Officer – Supplies $350, Sanitation – Fees $200, Highway and Streets – ($3,750). Roll call vote: Danek yes; Effling yes; King yes. Motion carried.
There being no further business brought before the council, motion by Danek, seconded by King, to adjourn; motion carried.
