A blizzard rolled through the state over the weekend leaving a reported 9.9 inches and around an inch of welcome moisture in our area.
The storm started with rain Saturday evening, which turned to snow during the night. Snow continued through Sunday and was accompanied by high winds in the afternoon and evening to assure everyone would stay put because of high drifts.
Temps prior to the storm were comfortable with the high on Wednesday hitting 44º F. They cooled to the 20s and 30s as clean-up began Monday into Tuesday.
