The Town ‘n Kountry Kids-Blue Group met May 19 at the 4-H building.
The meeting was called to order by Haley Degen. The pledges were led by Mason Moody and Brady Larson. The roll call topic was “What is your favorite month and why?” Twelve members were present.
The secretary’s report and treasurer report were given by Bailey Moody. Club leader Janet Maeschen announced that some of our local grandparents responded to our monthly letters.
Old Business: The club discussed who possibly was going to do special foods.  Everyone was reminded that they need to make sure they are enrolled in all the projects they want to do. Members discussed ideas for summer community service projects. The club decided to have another jewelry project day at Janet’s house.
New Business: May 22 – phonathon at 6 p.m.; May 31 – mystery trip; June 3-7 – TLC Camp in Brookings; June 5-7 – 4-H Camp; June 4 – Cloverbud day, 1-4 p.m. at 4-H building; June 4 – consumer judging contest #2, 1-4  p.m. at 4-H building; June 10 – consumer judging contest #3 at the courthouse from 1-4:30 p.m.; June 15-23 – Washington Focus trip; June 24 – County 4-H Horse Show; July 8 – special foods.
It was decided to give $30 to members attending 4-H camps and $50 to members attending Washington Focus and Performing Arts camp.
The club will be assisting with the pancake benefit for Tanna on June 2.  The club will also be serving lunch at the Hemminger sale on June 22.
The next meeting will be held in the community center on June 17 at 8 p.m.
