Beverly Jean Nagel, 67, Rapid City, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 in her home.
Memorial services were held in Rapid City on Nov. 2 and graveside services were held Nov. 3 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Artesian, with Rev. Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell officiating.
Beverly was born June 29, 1945 to Mary and Russell Olson of Forestburg. She grew up on a farm south of Forestburg and attended Forestburg Lutheran Church and Forestburg School, graduating in 1963.
She worked in Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Rapid City. She met Dan Nagel while working in Mitchell and they were married Oct. 21, 1967. They lived in Mitchell and then moved to Rapid City.
She is survived by her husband, Dan J. Nagel, Sr., Rapid City; son, Danny J. Nagel, Jr., Rapid City; daughters, Lisa M. Nagel, Rapid City, and Lynell M. (Terry) Waymouth, Box Elder; one grandson; a sister, Betty Zoss; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, Michael Russell Nagel.
