Several families gathered at Bethany Lutheran on Nov. 7 for fellowship and fun. All enjoyed a soup and dessert supper followed by an informal worship service led by Pastor Rhonda.
Following the service everyone got busy tying fleece blankets to be given to the Mitchell Area Safe House. Several of the younger children designed a paper turkey decoration and all the children had the opportunity to make a friendship bracelet.
The December First Wednesday Family Night will be held on Dec. 5 in Bethany Lutheran. Supper will be served at 6 p.m. The group will then go Christmas Caroling, returning to the church for hot chocolate and the packing of “goodie boxes” for shut-ins.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
