OPENING
The Sanborn County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Senska presiding. Other members present were: Larson, Blindauer, Ohlrogge and Ebersdorfer. Motion by Larson, seconded by Ebersdorfer, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried.
INDIGENT JAIL COSTS
Credit Collections Bureau presented a request to negotiate a lien for jail costs of Wade Glasgow. Motion by Ebersdorfer, seconded by Ohlrogge, to work with Credit Collections Bureau to receive payment for the lien. Motion carried.
BUDGET HEARING
10:00 a.m. Budget Hearing. Hearing no objections, the final adoption will be held on September 25, 2012.
TWIN LAKES ROAD
Shawn Peterson did not meet with the board.
TAX DEED PROCEEDINGS
Karen Krueger, Treasurer, explained the proceedings for taking certain property for taxes. More will be decided at the September 25th meeting.
DITCH 21
There were no bids received for cleaning Ditch 21 in the time allotted. Claude Miller submitted a quote of $20,000.00 to clean the ditch with a time limit of November 1, 2012. Motion by Blindauer, seconded by Larson, to hire Claude Miller to clean Ditch 21. Motion carried.
