Six altar servers at St. Wilfrid Catholic Church in Woonsocket received recognition during Mass this past Sunday on achieving the level of Red Robe Server.
Red Robe Servers at St. Wilfrid are: Aaron Linke, Abigail Fry, Erica Howard, Nathan Linke, Kaylee White and Megan Linke.
To achieve this level, servers had to have three years of faithful serving as an altar server, three letters of recommendation and pass a comprehensive exam on items, ceremony and terminology of the Catholic Mass. As a Red Robe Server, they will assume additional responsibilities at Mass.
