Chloe Degen demonstrates how to make “Cake Batter Rice Krispies Bars.”

The Town ‘n Kountry Kids 4-H Club – Blue Group met on Jan. 20 at noon in the Letcher Community Center.
Riley Zoss called the meeting to order with 13 members present. Flag salutes were led by Haley Degen and Chloe Sewall. Meghan Chada read the secretary’s report with Logan Moody giving the treasurer’s report.
Old business included handing out premium money for last year’s achievements. A report was given by Shooting Sports participants April Farmer, Renee Farmer and Meghan Chada. Treats were handed out by Chloe Sewall for a first place tie finish in the Christmas tree contest held at the Sanborn County Courthouse. The club will continue to plan a sledding party.
New Business: Project day, Jan. 21, was discussed. The club decided to schedule a tour and electric safety program at Central Electric by Mitchell. A club project day will be held on Special Foods.

Talks to be given at the next meeting are: Bailey Moody, Cole Moody and Ashlee Hanson. The February meeting date is yet to be determined.
