The Wessington Springs VFW invited Woonsocket seventh grader Nick Snedeker and his parents, Mark and Lisa, along with his instructor, Mrs. Lynn Klaas and husband Tim, to dine with them at their annual Valentine’s Day supper.
Nick and Denise Tanner, of Wessington Springs, read their winning Patriot Pen essays to the VFW members during a short program. Each student received a cash prize for their efforts.
