EXTRAORDINARY!!! That’s the only way to describe our weather this past week. We went from winter to summer in the span of a few days. Now we are really spoiled and the upcoming normal temperatures will feel rather cool. Loved the fact that one didn’t need a coat!  I spotted a robin last Tuesday and by Sunday they were everywhere!
The Patchwork Partners Quilting Group met on Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church to sew. Attending were Jacki Aymar, Evelyn Mitzel, Marlene Howard and Sue Larson. They enjoyed a carry-in lunch.
Bethany Lutheran’s Hope Circle met on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. at the church. Evelyn Mitzel was the hostess, serving a delicious meal before the meeting and Bible study. Attending were Barb Coulthard, Vicki Linke, Vickie Hines, Jacki Aymar, Kim Moody, Evelyn Mitzel, Ruth Jensen and Sue Larson.
Evelyn Mitzel, Sandra McNutt of Huron and Sue Larson were among those attending the Saturday Sampler event at The Pin Cushion in Mitchell on Saturday morning. The current project is entitled “Gingerbread Joy” and is a 12-month block of the month.
Those visiting Art and Babe Larson at PVCC on Sunday afternoon were Sue Larson, Alan Larson, Sr., Heath Larson and Natalie, Linda Verba and Amber Verba Hiles and Cadance of Mitchell.  Sue took Babe for a drive around town as the weather was so nice.
Trevor Pasch of Sioux Falls, Sue Larson’s nephew, stopped for a visit Monday afternoon on his return trip to Sioux Falls from Miller.
