The Artesian First Lutheran Church Women met at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29 at the church.  Pastor Terry Knudson opened the meeting with devotions and led an interactive discussion concerning community outreach.
The business meeting followed. The group had a lengthy discussion about starting an interdenominational Wednesday night youth program.  No decision was reached at this time.
Confirmation will be held Sunday, Feb. 14 at the 11 a.m. service. Those being confirmed are Samantha Dean, Katie Schmit and Aiden Wormstadt. A confirmation banner has been completed for display on this special day.
Upcoming projects include making a fleece blanket for our senior graduate, Dillon Moore, and an Easter Bake Sale on Saturday, March 26.
The ladies will meet to work on quilts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the church. All are welcome to come and join in the fun. No prior experience necessary.
