The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawk boys ended their regular season with their 17th win, handily beating Wessington Springs, 58-26.
The Hawks took an early lead and used the rest of the game to broaden the gap. To solidify a first half 10-point lead, the Blackhawks scored 28 points in the third quarter, while holding Springs to just five.
Brady Tiede was the sole man in double figures, with 16 points. Tiede also led in rebounds with seven. Tucker Kingsbury had seven points, four assists and three steals, while Dillon Moore added on seven points and four rebounds.
Garrett Larson had six each points and boards, and Josh Feiner added six points and a couple steals.
The Hawks shot 25-of-52 for 48 percent from the floor and eight-of-21 from the line for 38 percent.
John Witte led Springs with 16 points, six rebounds and three steals. The Spartans shot just eight out of 47 attempts from the field for 17 percent and hit 10-of-25 from the charity stripe.
The 17-3 Blackhawk boys had a few days off before entering district play, as they received a first round bye. They were back on the court Tuesday, March 1 versus James Valley Christian (16-4) at 5:30 p.m. in the Huron Arena.
