Daniel Graham, 54, of Letcher, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the Chapel.
Dan Graham, son of Butch and Betty (Parker) Koehler, was born Sept. 4, 1961, in Davenport, Iowa. He grew up in Davenport until 1976, when he moved with his family to Mitchell. Dan graduated from Mitchell High School in 1980. While in high school, Dan was employed at Randall Foods as a carry out boy. He then received his degree in plumbing from Mitchell Vo Tech. He was employed at Mitchell Plumbing, then as a security guard at Dakota Pork and recently at Coborn’s.
Dan enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, mini golf and spending time with his family.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Cheryl Graham of Letcher; two children, Jennifer (James) Steinmetz of Letcher, and Jeff (Courtney) Graham of Correctionville, Iowa; seven grandchildren; his mother, Betty Graham of Rio Rancho, N.M.; two brothers, Fred (Jennifer) Koehler of Duluth, Minn., and Scott Graham of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Traci Campbell of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Susie (Keith) Bessette of Clovis, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial fund has been set up in Daniel’s name.
