Despite a valiant 27-point effort by Myah Selland, the Lady Blackhawks fell to the No. 2-rated Hanson Beavers, 48-61, in Alexandria last Tuesday.
Abby Doering chipped in 10 points for the Blackhawks and Selland also grabbed eight rebounds.
The Beavers were led by Kynedi Cheeseman with a game-high 30 points.
The Hawks committed 13 turnovers.
Hanson is 10-3 after the win, while the Blackhawk girls fell to 8-4 before Thursday’s home game against Springs.
