Willis Eugene Jensen, 88, of Sioux Falls, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2016, at a nursing home in Lennox.
His memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, at Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Visitation was for one hour prior to the service.
Willis Jensen was born July 16, 1927, at Mitchell, to Clifford and Nellie (Heggen) Jensen. Willis received his education in the local area, and graduated from Alpena High School in 1945.  After high school, he served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1953. In 2005, Willis was united in marriage to Diane Mickelson.
He was the co-owner of Jensen Brothers Feed store in Huron and Tri-State Livestock on Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls. After retirement, he and his wife liked to travel. Willis would make an annual trip to visit his friends for the Army Reunion.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Diana (Paul) Heidgerd of Dallas, Texas; sons, Ron (Karen) of Canistota and Dr. Richard A. (Marge) of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; sisters, Marian (Martin, Jr.) Andersen of Woonsocket and Ardis Grace of Blair, Neb.; brothers, Bob (Ruth) of Alpena and Les (Mary Louise) of Alpena; other relatives; and numerous friends.
Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Nellie Jensen; sisters, Betty and Nellie (in infancy); brothers, John and Lloyd; and brother-in-law, Les.
