The Letcher Legion Auxiliary yearly puts a fern leaf with poppies on each cross at the Veterans’ Plot in the town cemetery. Auxiliary President Sandi Ruml this year had special helpers putting the leaves on, granddaughters, Miley and Kaylee Adams, and friends, Tori Hoffman and Kadence Fridley. The girls were a big help and they finished decorating all 290 crosses in a half hour. The girls will received an ice cream treat soon.
