Quilting, fun and fellowship were the themes of the First Lutheran Quilters gathering on Thursday evening, July 19, at the church. Those attending were Jean Wormstadt, Terry Moore, Gwen Effling, and Judy Wormstadt.
Jean brought several sausage roll pillowcases she made for show and tell. She plans to donate them to one of the areas of need in the community.
Judy completed the top for the Lutheran outdoors quilt and it has been on display at the church the last couple Sundays.
Gwen worked on the binding and backing for the quilt, and Terry and Jean layered up some full-size and baby quilts.
Lunch, the Lord’s Prayer and devotions were shared by the gals.
The next planned circle and quilting gathering for the group is Tuesday, July 31. Everyone is welcome.
