The Pony Hills Country Club will be hosting a ladies golf night this summer. The course, located three miles west of Woonsocket, hosts a nine-hole golf course with sand greens. The ladies golf night would consist of a best-ball format, which allows women of all skill levels to participate. This is not a golf league which requires you to attend regularly. Golfers simply show up on the nights they wish to golf.
Beginning on Tuesday, May 22, ladies are invited to come to the golf course for a fun night of golfing and socializing. The clubhouse will open around 5 p.m. All ladies interested in golfing need to be there by 5:45 p.m. Those present will draw for partners and golfing will begin at 6 p.m. It usually takes two hours for a round of best-ball golf. A meal will not be provided, however, those who would like to eat after golfing may bring an appetizer to share.
You are not required to be a country club member in order to golf on ladies night, simply pay the standard greens fee. Anyone wishing to become a member may contact Robert Davis to do so. The clubhouse does not rent carts, so please bring a pull-cart or line up your own. Perhaps, you’ll get paired up with someone who has a cart!
