Some of the several people suspected to have been involved in burglarizing homes and businesses all over the state were captured in Sioux Falls over the weekend. They are believed to have been involved in break-ins all over South Dakota and possibly in some border states, as well.
It is believed that they could be connected to the break-in at the Country Pumper two months ago, but there is nothing identifiable to connect them to that particular break-in.
There is no way to know exactly how much merchandise and money was stolen in total during their crime spree, but they were found in the possession of many power tools, including a skid steer. The final numbers of stolen articles were not available.
At this time, all of the suspects and the crimes are still under investigation.
