The Town ‘N Kountry Kids 4-H Club – Blue Group met on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at the 4-H building in Forestburg. Members worked on their 4-H record books. The meeting was called to order by president Brady Larson. Pledges were led by McKenzie Uecker and Kelly Wilson. Ten members and three cloverbuds were in attendance. The Secretary’s report was read by Payton Uecker. Bryce Larson gave the Treasurer’s report and mentioned that the group made a deposit of $1,170 from Jake’s Memorial Fish Fry gun raffle. Teagen made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report; Payton seconded the motion.
Old Business:
Discussion was held on Jake’s Memorial Fish Fry.
New Business:
The club discussed Shooting Sports recognition, which will be held on Oct. 14, and 4-H recognition will be held on Nov. 10.
Discussion was held on having a Halloween party and Trunk or Treat. Delaney Zoss made a motion to just have a Trunk or Treat on Letcher’s Main Street, Sunday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. Teagen Moody seconded the motion. The committee members for the Trunk or Treat are Payton and McKenzie Uecker, Teagen and Memphis Moody, and Shay Bechen.
No talks nor demonstrations were given.
Brady Larson adjourned the meeting.
