Winter Guard is an indoor, color guard sport where members use dance and flag skills to perform a routine. The Blackhawks Winter Guard consists of seventh through 12th grade students and is open to anyone that is currently in band.
They spend many weeks learning flag and dance techniques, while also learning a full routine. They then get to go to Minnesota to compete and watch other Winter Guard groups on the weekends.
This year’s routine was called “For You Our Guest” and the team had a great time learning and performing.
