Over the weekend, some local families traveled to Renner for the Sioux Valley Cycle Club’s Harescramble. The races were long and exhausting, but worth the time for the boys.
Brayden Eagle raced to first place in the two-hour 250A class, which earned him some cash to bring home. His younger brother, Dayton Eagle, also got first place in the 65 race, and he earned second in the one-hour 85 race. Ethan Schmiedt wasn’t far behind him as he came in third for the 85. McCoy Schulz also raced in the 85.
Evan VonEye placed second in the 250B class in his first two-hour race. Jared LaVine is still on the injured list but loves going to the races and will be back on the track as soon as he can be.
