On Friday, Nov. 5, Neal Cruse, a Career Advisor with the department of Labor and Regulations visited Sanborn Central School District to share about life after high school with the Ag students in Mr. Welch’s class. He talked about what his department can do to help high school students after high school. He also had some short videos about different STEM careers that are out there, that a person would not think about. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Neal also presented “Bring Your A Game,” which is a soft skills curriculum to freshmen and sophomores. They are short lessons on filling out applications, creating resumés and interviewing.
