Mayor Mark Chada called the meeting to order with Sean Gromer and Angie Meier in attendance.
A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Chada, carried, to approve July 5th, 2021, minutes as read.
A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Larson, carried, to approve the financials as presented.
Old Business:
Discussion was held on the TTHM Water Sample that was sent in.
Discussion was held on hiring Faye Blindauer for cleaning the community center. A motion was made by Larson, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve Faye Blindauer for cleaning the community center at $18.50 an hour. Meier will take her the keys and go over the dates the community center is rented on the calendar.
Discussion was held on updated ordinances. The Board is waiting on District III to get them updated and sent to the Board to look over.
New Business:
The Board received a letter that the TTHM Water sample can go back to the routine yearly water sample.
Discussion was held on past due accounts.
Brooke King will be done mowing the end of July. Meier can help with the mowing until the end of the summer.
Discussion was held on a mower quote Gromer received from Doug’s Custom Paint and Body. A motion was made by Chada, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve to trade in the old mower and purchase a new mower for the Town. The new mower will be delivered in the spring of 2022.
Discussion was held on Gromer helping with the maintenance of the town. The Board is going to discuss this at the next meeting on August 2nd when Larson is at the meeting.
A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Chada, carried, to approve the following claims for payment:
GENERAL AND WATER/SEWER: Davison Rural Water – $3,625.00 – Water Used, Buckshots – $361.96 – Mower Fuel and Election Day Meals, Sean Gromer – $1,057.00 – 21.5 Hours of Lost Time – Maintenance for the Town and five times of Fogging for the town, Dawson Construction – $520.41 – Blading Streets, Brooks Oil – $47.88 – Fuel.
The next board meeting will be held on August 2, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office.
