The Town of Artesian Council met on July 12, 2022, in regular session at the Artesian Community Center.  Council Member Travis King called the meeting to order with Council Member Candi Danek present. Also present were Finance Officer Molly Ebersdorfer and Tom Fridley. Present for public participation were Andrew and Kaleigh Zoss, Josh Starzman and Mike and Sara Salathe.

Motion by Danek, seconded by King, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. Motion by Danek, seconded by King, to approve the June Council Minutes, Financial Statement, and Payment of Vouchers; motion carried.

Streets – Discussion was held on gravel and resident mowing.

There was discussion on the lagoon clean out.

Discussion was held on Code Enforcement.

The West Nile grant update was discussed. 

The Board discussed Disaster Mitigation.

New Business:

Discussion was held on purchasing storm shelters. Ebersdorfer will apply for the ALM Grant.

Ebersdorfer will research a new attorney for the town.

Fridley gave an update on a generator for the lift station.  

There being no further business, motion by Danek, seconded by King, to adjourn. Motion carried.
