Mayor Mark Chada called the meeting to order with Angie Larson, Sean Gromer, and Angie Meier in attendance. 

A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Larson, carried, to approve the January 29th, 2023, minutes as read.

A motion was made by Larson, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve the financials as presented.

Old Business:

Discussion was held on paperwork sent from Planning and Development District III with a map asking if any alignment changes, curb and gutter changes have been made. No changes have been in the last year.  

Discussion was held on the water sample report.  

New Business:

Discussion was held on installing the new water meters. Chada met with Shannon Lynn, and he will be starting to work on installing the new water meters. He is looking at starting in the beginning to the middle of March.  

Discussion was held on having the floors at the community center waxed in the spring. Meier will be calling to try to find someone that will do the waxing and get an estimate on the cost.  

A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Larson, carried, to approve the following claims for payment:

GENERAL AND WATER/SEWER: Miedema Sanitation – $20.00 – Utilities – Garbage Removal, Santel Communications – $236.35 – Community Center – Phone – $25.17, Community Center – Internet – $55.00, Office – Phone – $29.68, Office – Internet – $80.50, Lift Station – Phone – $46.00, Angie Meier – $749.22 – Wages – Finance Officer, Ed Hoffman – $538.10 – Wages – Water Superintendent, Michael Hoffman – $83.12 – Wages – Meter Reader, Sean Gromer – $554.10 – Wages – Maintenance Worker.

The next board meeting will be held on February 19th, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Town Office.
