When the Woonsocket kindergarten students were learning about insects, Lily Dise asked her grandpa, Verald Baysinger, if he would come and talk to the class about bees.
Verald and Chris Baysinger both came to teach the students about bees and their honey operation. They brought a bee box, a smoker, pictures and charts about bees, a piece of wax and some honey to sample. They told the students about the bees and how they work to make honey. Chris dressed up in the clothes that they need to wear when working with the bees.
The students took turns trying on the gloves and hat and most of them tasted the honey. Verald and Chris were busy answering the many questions that the students had.
